Rules:
- Be nice to each other and be nice to the machines.
- Be on time at the Bulls&Balls at the indicated times. We will keep the times without exception. If you come too late, you really won't play the day. You can arrive at any time on Thursday. From Friday to Sunday the end of the registration is at 09:30 am. It is a matter of mutual respect. The one who is on time certainly has no desire to wait another hour until the last one comes from breakfast or has slept in.
- No food and/or drinks in the tournament rooms.
- The consumption of alcohol is of course allowed. Players who are heavily intoxicated and who also attract unpleasant attention can be excluded from the tournament and expelled from the venue. Here the owner may make use of his house right.
- After the start of a round (Warm Up, Swiss Mode, Group Matchplay and 5-Strike-Knockout) the player has 5 minutes to be at the device. If one player does not come, the other player has won automatically and can enter his victory. I scream loud enough for everyone to hear.
- The decisions of the referees are law and are not discussed. The tournament management must follow at all times.
- No decisions are made on their own authority. If there is a mistake in the game or a ball gets stuck or whatever... always contact a referee or technician.
- The devices are not switched off and on again independently.
- The chance to play the extra balls depends on the tournament format. You will receive the information with the opening speech.
- No free play is allowed until the tournament management releases an area or the equipment. Please do not ask every ten minutes.
- By transferring the entry fee, all participants agree that they may make and use film and sound recordings. These can be shared in the forum, in the live stream and on Facebook in order to promote the event and promote pinball.
- Because of the actual Covid situation, there can be additional rules from the CEO or the government (or both ). Those rules must be followed.
- If you break the rules, you will get a yellow card. In case of another foul, the red card follows and the exclusion from the weekend (we haven't had it yet).
It all sounds very strict, but I have noticed that it is incredibly exhausting (for everyone), if you have to chase someone from the pinball machine every five minutes (free play) or have to address other rules several times. You avoid a "sanction" if you just stick to the rules. This makes it much more relaxed for everyone. Due to the increasingly complex game modes and extensions in the program, we have to make sure that we provide a framework in which you can move. We won't remind you any more or remind you of the rules. A yellow card is the first warning and valid the whole event.
Please note that slight changes may occur.
Cheers
Tobias
